Let’s work together
Join us in celebrating our community garden partnership with the City of Guelph, St. Joseph's Health Center, and Food From Home = Food for Home, a social ecological justice project under the umbrella of Art of Soil Collective. Thanks to their generosity, we're thrilled to offer Ex Park residents a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a beautiful move-in ready plot.
Food from Home = Food for Home (FFH)² functions as an open collective with newcomers of all ages, and from all corners of the globe, who have expressed interest in learning how to grow food, or, who already know how to grow food but currently lack access to arable land, a supportive community, tools or $$. We welcome volunteers and allies of BIPOC communities new to Guelph & Wellington county.
Collaborations like these not only beautify spaces but also foster community engagement and promote food security. We love to see initiatives like this that support local residents and bring people together around shared interests and values.
If you’d like to join us in this community magic pop by on Thursdays from 12-2pm. The garden is located at 100 Westmount Rd. and can be accessed through Lourdes High School parking lot.
We love this project! You will too! Please consider supporting us in any way you can.
